Everyone can write. I believe that very much. Even if you just a kindergarten or elementary school teacher. Teacher and lecturer are the best writer since they have all the knowldege. More than that their knowledge are increasing everyday since they deal with childreen needs everyday. So, what should we do when we want to write children book ? Here are some guides about writing children book especialy for children under 5 years old : 1. Prepare a short story. Short in here means really short. Just write 6-10 sentence. Children in those age are still learning on how to concentrate. So, they will not intersting in long sentence. 2. Write an expresive sentence Children are more interesting in expresive words like the animals sounds. Remember, they can't read, it is the adult who will read for them. With expresive word will help the adult to read it with better imagination for the children. 3. Prepare a picture. If you can't draw a picture then you can ask other people to draw it for you. The picture is not necesarilly great. A simple picture is fine as long as it has bright colors since children more intersting in bright color.
After you write your story and complete it with a picture then the next step should be find a publisher to publish your book. In regular way, you can send your manuscript to publisher. If the publisher interesting to your manuscript then they will print it, design the cover and publish it for you. If you're lucky, then you will get royalty for every books that sells. The royalty is varying in every publisher. One thing for sure is that the royalty value is not as big as the profit the publisher takes.
But there is another easier way to publish your children book. Why don't you publish it yourself ? Write your book into ebook. All you have to do are : 1. Getting an ebook cover design. You can find it in internet. There are many websites which offering an ebook cover design. 2. Find an online ebook store. You can contact the owner of the website and ask the procedure to sell your book there. Of course they will ask for some commision. But the commision is only few % for every copies.
